    Help to get my form into ebay listing

    Asked by samsinvites on October 16, 2014 at 02:27 PM

    I have just made a form and tried to past the link given into ebay but ebay won't accept it.  Am I doing something wrong?  I notice other people in ebay are using this so not sure why I can't.

    Thank you

    Hi samsinvites,

    To get the form to display it would have to be embedded on the desired page. Just pasting the link, will show the link to the direct form and will not embed the form.

    The possibility of having it embedded will depend on eBay's embed rules. However the best option to embed the form is by using the iFrame code for your form.

    How to Get iFrame Code

    I would recommend to only use the first part of the iFrame code

    <iframe id="JotFormIFrame" onload="window.parent.scrollTo(0,0)" allowtransparency="true" src="//form.jotformpro.com/form/42671425954965" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:2347px; border:none;" scrolling="no"></iframe>

    Do not include the script below.

    <script type="text/javascript">window.handleIFrameMessage = function(e) {var args = e.data.split(":");var iframe = document.getElementById("JotFormIFrame");if (!iframe)return;switch (args[0]) {case "scrollIntoView":iframe.scrollIntoView();break;case "setHeight":iframe.style.height = args[1] + "px";break;}};if (window.addEventListener) {window.addEventListener("message", handleIFrameMessage, false);} else if (window.attachEvent) {window.attachEvent("onmessage", handleIFrameMessage);}</script>

    I hope this helps, please inform us if you need further assistance.
