How to input calculation values

Good day, a doubt, can you enter values in the selectors in dynamic mode? example: in this reference: https://www.crystalglassny.com/Store/Glass-Products. In phase 3 if I have selected 1/8 and the default option Seamed Edge the cost is 33.30. When changing for example to Flat Polished Edge the total cost is 33.78, so I assume that this option would cost 0.48. Now if I change to 1/4 the total cost is 39.54, I assume according to the subtraction that 1/4 costs 6.22 with default values. If I change to Flat Polished Edge, the cost would be 40.48 so I assume that there Flat Polished Edge costs 0.96 and not 0.48, then I can update that cost in the part where the values are entered for calculations according to the option chosen or just put the value in the equation?

    Hi allglassweb,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Yes, you can input calculation values for calculation. we have a guide for that here. If you're trying to achieve a specific calculation, you can check this guide on How to Perform Form Calculation Using a Widget. Also, since you'll be using calculate field conditions, you may want to know How to Insert Text or Calculation into a Field Using Conditional Logic.

Let us know if you need any more help.

This article explains it manually, my question is if I can do it dynamically through a condition?

    Hi allglassweb,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform support. To accomplish your goal, you must manually add a few conditions to your form. If you are having problem in it don't hesitate to reach out again.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any other help.

The conditional would be that if the thickness is equal to 1/4 assign the calculation value 0.96 to the Flat Polished Edge field, but I don't know if I can do it.

    Hello allglassweb,

Unfortunately, you cannot assign the calculation values dynamically based on condition. To achieve your requirement, you can directly add the values to the Calculation Formula. This guide will show you how to do that.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Now can I make nested conditions?

    Hi allglassweb,

Keep in mind that it is not possible to make nested conditions with your current requirement. However, you can create two separate calculation widgets, then apply them for the show/hide conditional logic.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any other help.
