    Submissions Counter Widget: The count not shown in submissions any more

    Hi,

    when i'm going to see answers of a form, the numbers of each answer doesn't appear anymore. They stopped at 59. In other form they stopped at 45. We only pass 100 submissions at the end of 3 months...

    Can you help? Thank you in advance.

    Hi,

    I took a look at your jotforms and I see that the issue with http://www.jotformeu.com/form/42364859051357 begins at 59 and with http://www.jotformeu.com/form/42444728610352 is probably the one with 45.

    I also see that the jotform itself has the correct number of submissions shown when the jotform is previewed even though it does not save it.

    I will now clear your jotform cache just to make sure that this is not happening any more, but do let us know if it does and we will raise awareness of this issue to  our developers.

    Hi Pedro,

    When going to both jotforms they were displaying correct numbers on the pages.

    After taking a look at your submissions I see that this is happening only to your jotform http://www.jotformeu.com/form/42364859051357 and that the other jotform continued from the right number.

    Can you please tell me if you have removed the counter by any chance and have added a new one, or maybe the API key for it?

    I have also tried re-saving it for you. Can you please test and let us know if it continues properly or not?

    Also, if it does not continue properly. Please remove it from your widget and add a new one instead.

    If this does not work we will raise this to our developers so that they can inspect what might be the cause of this.

    numbers of each answer doesn't appeared anymore, so i made a new API key for both forms:

    now begins at number 1...

    Please open the widget and then click on Save (do this for both jotforms) and save the jotform after you save the widget and see if this helps.

    It would be good to also clear jotform cache afterwards as well.

    Hi Pedro,

    I would like to ask you if you could leave it as it is for now, so that our developers can take a look at this and resolve it.

    I see that they have already started looking into this and this would help them find the exact reason why this happens to your jotforms.

    If you must have it working properly, then opening the widget wizard and closing it once again should set it back to right count once again.

    Hi @psouza, may I ask a question if you tried to recreate an API on your myaccount page or did you try to create another API key and use that instead?

    Also make sure that it must be in "Read Access" mode.

    I wasn't able to replicated it myself so I'm asking you some question to confirm.

    Hi Pedro.

    I am sorry to hear that.

    Lets try to create a new API key with ReadAccess to see if that resolves the issue.

    To do this please follow this guide: How to Create Jotform API Key.

    Once you have it please go to the widget on your jotform and add it into the widget itself.

    You can do that by clicking on the widget in form builder and then on the wizard icon (wand like icon in the right corner)

    Once you change the API key, please click on the Save button.

    Please use this API key only on this one widget in this one jotform. If you want to create new keys for other widgets and jotforms please create new ones each time.

    Our developers were wondering if API keys would help, so if this happens again, please let us know and I will notify our developers that even with the new API keys there is an issue.

    I would also like to apologize for this happening, at this time you are unfortunately the only one that this is happening to, but either way if it continues we will do our best to find the issue and resolve it for you :)

    Hello, 

    We've revamped the API and authentication system, as well as delivered a lot of improvements for this widget which will prevent the sporadic failure. 

    I believe this was caused by incompatibility by older browsers (IE8 and 9, which some of your users might have used to view your form) - which has been fixed.
