Verification email custom senderAsked by Omar on October 20, 2014 at 02:33 PM
I inserted in my form one widgets with ID 53451665a01cdaaa49000005, but what I try I get validation that sent JotForm and I want to change that email by firstname.lastname@example.org. This is to verify the identity of the mail.
From what I understood you wish that the sender of the verification email to be your customized address instead of Jotform. For now the widget Email Validator does not allow the customization of the sender address:
I will forward a feature request so that our developers might consider a future implementation of this feature. You will be contacted via this thread once they have an update on this.
Let us know if we can assist you further.
I like that there is another way to validate a separate e-mail and sms validator form validator, as these two functions do not work for me that is money and the other with a code to send mail JotForm and not my e w. email@example.com and therefore people are not going to trust the automatic mail JotForm.
That possibility is there that the email widgets validator configured to send the code from my e-mail and not from firstname.lastname@example.org ?, like as it does to send forms that are normally configured and sent from the mail registered.
I understand your remark on the importance of a custom sender address. I previously forwarded a feature request to our developers so they can consider its implementation. For now it is necessary to wait on the developers' decision on this matter.
If you need further support please let us know.
After evaluating the possibility of this feature, it would not be entirely possible to provide a way to use a custom sending address.
The widget design constrains us to keep the functionality simple and easy to support.
However, we did add a few more features to further validate your identity to your form users.
Test out the email subject and sender name features and let us know.
