How can I change 'Sender Name' on an email notification to my orginazation name?

    Hi team,


    This is my first time using jotform and would like to know if I can change the "Sender Name" on an email notification to my organization name.  I've already been successful at changing the "Sender email".  What I would like to do is change the "Sender Name" to "New Dance Cinema".  When I go into the drop down menu for that, my options are listed as the same as my form content (name, email, phone, etc.) Currently when I test the email it comes to my inbox as being from "Jotforms" which could be very confusing to my audience.  Is there a way to change it to be from  "New Dance Cinema"?

    Thank you for contacting us.

    I would like to inform you, that we have two types of email alerts: Email Notifications and Email Autoresponders. The usual purpose of Email Notifications is to email form owners, while the Autoresponders are used to email form users (ones who submit the form).

    If you add a Form Autoresponder you will be able to change the Sender name on it.

    Creating a Form Autoresponder

    In case you still need to change the Sender Name on the Email Notification, we can do this with a workaround based on a hidden field.

    Hi Mike and Jot team,
    Thank you for your quick email reply. I was happy to find your instructions very straightforward. I changed the appropriate settings and sent a test email. I am still however getting the email from "jotform". I've included a screenshot below to show that I've entered the info and hit finish. I also tried replying to the test email yet nothing came through to the address I provided (

    You are welcome Anji.

    Since your form is located under a Guest account, I can not login to your account in order to check the email settings. Please sign up for a Free account (, the forms will be automatically moved to your registered account.

    If you used a 'Test Email' button, the JotForm sender is predefined and can not be changed on such emails. You will need to submit the form in the browser to see the email alerts in action.
