    I no longer receive emails from my forms

    They all once worked fine, but at some point I noticed I no longer was receiving any contacts, so I tested it and realized it is broken.

     

    What changed?

     

    I'm not a coder, but if it will help you, here is the form code from our "contact us" page:

    This website was designed for us by a young woman fresh out of college, who then moved on to a better job and left us to care for this site.

    Hello Doug,

    I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.

    I did check your form's notification email alert and did not find any issue with that. You have set it correctly to send submission emails to "dougapple@gmail.com".

    I also checked our email logs and found that the emails are being sent successfully. Please check the email logs below:

    Have you checked your spam folder already? Please check the spam folder and see if the emails ended up there. 

    It seems you have changed the email address today which was used to receive submission emails and earlier you were using "dougapple@wave94.com".

    Upon checking, I found that the email address dougapple@wave94.com was in our bounce list for following reason:

    Result: dougapple@wave94.com is IN the bounce list

    Reason(s) : 5.3.0 - Other mail system problem 550-'5.7.1 Message rejected as spam by Co= ntent Filtering.'

    I have removed this email address from our bounce list and it should work fine now. Do test your form with this email address again and get back to us if the issue persists.

    Thank you so much for following up on this.
    I did some poking around myself, and ended up changing to my Gmail address,
    as you saw.
    Now it is working fine, and I will just leave it as Gmail.
    I also fiddled with the forms, adding "no reply" as suggested in one of
    your support posts.
    So it all seems to be working now....and I have much more to learn.
