Forms keeping data previously entered

We use your forms in our medspa. when we pull up the forms for our clients on our ipad, the previous clients info stays in there even after the form is submitted.

This is bad, because all of that is confidential.

    How do we fix it?

    Hello,

I see that you have a list of forms on the provided link.

Could you please tell us if this happens with a particular form?
Or it happens with all the forms?
Also do you use the back button of your browser to fill the form again after it was submitted?

Please let us know so we can further investigate this issue.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

It happens on the Patient information sheet for sure. I will check the others. But this one is crucial because it is supposed to be confidential! We are having to go in and erase the info on our ipads on slot at time!

I think this is not a problem in JotForm. Only make sure that autofill is not enabled in your browser:

This way, the form won't keep the previously entered data at http://amedspa.com/patient-consent-forms/

Here are some guides for Firefox and Chrome:

Prevent Firefox from storing form entries

If you don't want Firefox to remember what you've entered into form fields, you can turn off the auto form fill feature:

Click the menu button New Fx Menu Screenshot 10 and choose Preferences

Select the Privacy panel. In the drop-down menu next to Firefox will:, choose Use custom settings for history. Remove the check mark next to Remember search and form history. Click Close to close the Preferences window

Disabling form history also prevents Firefox from storing search history for the Search bar in the Navigation Toolbar.

Prevent Chrome from storing form entries

Autofill is turned on by default. Follow the steps below to turn it off.

Click the Chrome menu Chrome menu Screenshot 21 on the browser toolbar. Select Settings. Click Show advanced settings and find the "Passwords and forms" section. Deselect the "Enable Autofill to fill out web forms in a single click" checkbox.

Here is another good site for references on how to disable autofill
