The email submissions are not being sent anymore. What has happened?

    Hi

I have received email submissions on first loading the form: 4 successful ones on 20 and 21 Oct.

But since 23 Oct no submissions have been received and I have tested this twice now.

I did edit the form but did not update the condition until today to see if was incorrect.

    I can't see anything wrong.

Hope you can help!  It is a great utility otherwise!

    Hello curzone,

I did check your form's notification email alert and did not find any issue with that.

You seems to have added one condition in your form where if "Total Price to Pay " is filled then only send submission email. If you check your last few submissions, the above field seems to be 0. I am not sure how it could be zero as in any case, this field should always have a value. Correct me if I am wrong on this?

It seems currently you are using your forms direct URL. Was your form earlier embedded in your web page? Please confirm.

We will wait for your response.

    Thank you!

    Hi

Thanks for checking. There are few things with potential wrong!

The Total Price to Pay is a calculated field but I can't find how to protect it. It works and shows a value when I test it. I think the users must be overwriting it.  Can I protect it?

Yes the form is embedded as an icon in 2 different web pages.

Can I simply remove the Total Price to Pay condition and just get the form sent when the Submit button is clicked?

    Thanks

    Liz

    Hello Liz,

I did check your form and did not find any issue with that. I also checked your form's submission record and found that apart from few records, rest of them have some form different IP address. Though it is unlikely that javascript of user's browser must have been disabled, but I would still suggest you to add "NoScript" widget in your form. This will ensure that if the JavaScript of user's browser is disabled, they will not be able to submit form.

Apart form this, I would also suggest you to make your form calculation widgets "Price Selected" and "Total Price to Pay £" as required field.

After these changes, I would suggest you to monitor your form and get back to us if the issue persists.

    Thank you!

Hi - I made the all changes you suggested and did a test. It still did not send an email.

But I noted that when is was in the online form the Price Selected and the Total Price to Pay did have valid values (as per my calculated fields)
    but the submission shows:
    Price Selected as blank
and Total Price to Pay as 0.

I don't understand why this is now happening.  Are my rules syntax or conditions incorrect?

Thanks again if you can sort this out....

    Liz

It seems that there is an issue with the field Price Selected. Can we have it removed and calculate the total price directly on the field Total Price to Pay £? I've cloned the form and tried the following steps. And it is working fine.

Before you make any modifications to your JotForm, please take a look at the following demo form and see how it works.

    http://www.jotformpro.com/form/42967869933982

    1. Added calculation values to the options of Ticket Price

The email submissions are not being sent anymore Screenshot 30

    2. The Total price field with calculation wizard is filled with the formula Ticket Price x Number of Tickets.

The email submissions are not being sent anymore Screenshot 41

So, here there is no way around to calculate to Selected Price and then to Total Price. However, I see a condition based on Date of Order. If the user selects either of the first option and wrong date, the calculation results to zero. Is there any price that you have after this date.

Let us know if you have any questions. Thank you.

Thank you so much! That has fixed it and I am now receiving email submissions.

I also removed the Date of Order condition as you suggested. I will simply change the price on that date.

Many thanks for your advice and time.

    Liz
