tomorrownightAsked on October 24, 2014 at 6:46 AMive had all the same issues, and i was told a bug fix request was made, but i cant still only use my form in Chrome. Gift Registry doesnt work in IE or FF in quite recent versions as well.
Currently in IE and FF, the page reveals all fields (including the ones meant to be hidden by conditions) and doesn't show at all gift registry until you force refresh.
Dont want to nag but have built this system using Gift Reg, and cant really go back now and need to start giving it to people. Cant just have a website that works in Chrome :/
This is what i have so far:

Hi,
I took a look at your website and the first thing that happened is that I was not able to click on some buttons. Then when I refreshed, I was able to click on them, but the registry widget did not load.
The reason why this happens is that on your website, there are other things running and cause conflict with the jotforms scripts.
To resolve this you should just replace the javascript embed code with iframe embed code.
So remove this:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://form.jotformpro.com/jsform/42961326434960">
And replace it with this:
<iframe id="42961326434960" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" style="width: 100%; border: medium none; height: 3366px;" name="42961326434960" allowtransparency="true" src="http://form.jotformpro.com/form/42961326434960"></iframe>
Once you do that, please let us know if it works for you.
Best Regards,

Hi Adam,
It seems that you have a lot of gift registry widget and conditions pertaining to them. As my colleague have explained, it seems that a possible conflict with javascript.
I tried embedding using different form code in different platform.
And using iFrame and the Wordpress, some of the hidden gift registry field shows up. But not all of them.

We will look further on this and let you know if we've come up on a solution.
For the meantime, you can explore the different embed code you can use here: https://www.jotform.com/help/67-Which-Form-Embed-Code-Should-I-Use
Regards.

Hello tomorrownight,
Can you set a height for each widget that you have on your form? This will most probably help your form to load the contents correctly if in case if fails to adjust the height after loading the content of the widget.
Please let us know if the problem persists.
Thanks.

I think that may have something to do with your browser's cache already. Can you try clearing that one out? This is how it appears on my end using Firefox browser with all the items checked:
To ensure that this isn't a fluke, I also tried loading for the first time using Opera browser and I was also able to load the same contents.

Hi,
Can you insert this custom CSS code in the Form Designer->CSS tab
body, html {
height : 100%;
}
iframe {
height : 600px !important;
}
#id_3 {
min-height : 600px;
}
#id_5 {
min-height : 600px;
}
#id_4 {
min-height : 600px;
}
#id_6 {
min-height : 600px;
}
#id_7 {
min-height : 600px;
}
#id_17 {
min-height : 600px;
}
#id_19 {
height : 400px;
}
1. In the JotForm Form Designer, click the CSS tab and paste there the above code.
Note: Please change the values of the height to match your needs. Also clear your form's cache and make sure to save your changes. Please also do check if you have plugins or addons to Firefox that might be blocking the gift registry widgets, it is a known issue that NoScript, AdBlock and the likes seems to be causing some issues related to widgets.
The code above should fix the displaying of gift registry widgets on Firefox. Let us know if you are still having problems.
Thanks.

I've cloned your form for testing purposes and I applied the changes there. Here's my link, http://www.jotformpro.com/form/43133527184957, please check if you are still seeing the same issues regarding the gift registry not displaying in firefox.
Regards.

just one more thing, and this isnt a deal breaker, if my beta tests come back ok, then we can go ahead, this is just because it would be preferable:
Is there an easy way to get rid of the big gaps between the giftregistry boxes in most browsers?in my jotform designer they are all neatly together with equal distance on 2 lines of 3 boxes

Hi,
Yes, you can shorter them a bit so that there is not as much space. I have created a jotform these changes so please test them out to see in case the change in height stops it from working properly by some chance.
This is the code added to it:
li.form-line.form-line-column[data-type="control_widget"] {
min-height: 480px !important;
}
iframe{
height:450px;
}
#id_17 {
min-height: 350px !important;
}This is the jotform with the above code:

Looking forward to hearing from you after testing.
Best Regards,
Ben
