Can Javascript calls removed?

    Hi,

Some of my pages have http://max.jotfor.ms/static/jotform.forms.js?3.2.4171 as a Javascript call.  Others with forms do not.  The pages without the Javascript seem to be working OK.  What does the Javascript do?  Can I delete that call?  It's slowing down my page load time.

On a separate note, I noticed the last 4 digits of the above line like 4171 change from page to page.  Some are 2422, others 1540 or 2364.  What's the significance of those digits?

    Thanks,

    David

It is not suggested to unlink any of the files that are provided by default with the form. These javascript files are crucial in processing the form submissions. Are you using source code method to embed JotForms on your website? If so, you may try downloading the compressed version as shown as in the screenshot below to embed the form.

These files need to be uploaded to your hosting along with linking CSS and Javascript files. This can help in reducing the page load time, since you are accessing these files from your hosting itself.

The number you are referring should be something related to revision number of version control to identify which one your JotForm is using.

Hope this information helps. Please get back to us if you need any further assistance. Thank you.
