Credit Card expiry date of users submitting to Paypal subscription based formAsked by andy_h on October 29, 2014 at 07:14 PM
I have a subscription product and I am using paypal as the payment method.
I want to be notified in advance of a credit card expiring so I can contact the customer in advance.
At the moment I have included a field requesting the customers card expiry date - however is there any way of doing this without them haveing to enter this information twice?
If the card is reaching its expiration date, Paypal will always notify the owner of the card and would ask to update it. I think you will also get notified about the preapproved payment status of the user.
Unfortunately, we don't have a control of that information and there's no way in the integration to know and automatically get this data from the user.
