How can I split two text areas and place them on the same line?

Asked by EpicStudio on October 30, 2014 at 04:11 PM

Hi there. I have a responsive form but I'd like to make the last 4 text input areas split in half, keep 2 of them per line and keep the responsive capabilities. Here's my website with the form: http://www.cancunrivieratravel.com/l/cancun-airport-transportation-transfers-and-shuttle/

    Thanks..!

I've cloned your JotForm to my account to see if I can make changes to it. But, it seems that there is an issue with the existing CSS code within the form. So, I created a new JotForm. Please see if it works for you.

Thanks, looks great. I’ll try to tweak some specs by myself, besides that, it was what I was trying to achieve.
    I’ll keep in contact.

Sorry if I sound too exigent, LOL, but I found a few things I’m working on and can’t make on my own:
    1. First, I’d like to control or reduce the spaces between the input boxes
    2. It would be great if the form could have a 100% width, since I plan to use it on parts of the page that are wider than the actual 400px
    3. When I change the width of the browser, the boxes behave on a strange way, the first one presents an extra left padding and the small ones become wider.
    4. Will it be possible to keep the “send” button the same size in all window widths? And floating to the left please.
I tried to customize the CSS myself, but I saw a lot of lines added and was not sure how much will it take me to do it.
Thanks so much for your help..!

    Hello EpicStudio,

    We need few clarification:

    1. On which form you want these to be implemented? The web page URL you have shared above does not have any form. I did check the form shared by my colleague and also your account, you have two similar form in your account.

    2. First, I’d like to control or reduce the spaces between the input boxes - Do you want to reduce the horizontal space or vertical space between the text boxes?

We will wait for your response.

    Thank you!
