How does upload space work?

How does the upload space work? Are my files being stored at JotForm?

The form I created is connected to my Google Drive, so it send the data to reside there. Is an additional copy sitting on the servers of JotForm?

Just wondering because I see that I have used 62 MB out of 100, yet I didn't think I was storing anything at JotForm other than the skeleton of the form itself.

Thanks in advance for clarifying how the upload space works.

The files being received by your JotForm are stored into JotForm servers and Google Drive as a backup. That is the reason your upload space is showing with the files occupied. Unlike resetting the submissions count, the upload space will not reset the space occupied. In order to clear the upload space, you'll need to delete the submissions while keeping the backup in Google Drive.
