Need file upload to include pc camera as upload option

I have a short form used to collect inspection photos.  When using the form on iPhone or Android the file upload field presents the onboard camera as an upload option.

I am trying to extend this form to a Dell Venue Window 8 tablet.  Using IE, Chrome, etc.. the file upload only allows for file explorer to select files.  How can get the file upload to utilize the camera on the windows tablet, similar to android/iPhone?

I have tried the "Take Photo" widget, but it will only recognize the front facing camera, not the rear.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Please try using InkFilePicker: http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/filepickerIO. InkFilePicker integration allows you to select what uploading options to include. One of it is to take a photo using your device.

We have a guide here for taking photos using InkFilePicker: http://www.jotform.com/help/218-How-to-Take-Pictures-on-Your-Forms.

I hope this works for you. Please try it and let us know for the result.

    Thank you!

Thanks for the support.  Seems to work similar to the "Take Photo" widget when accessing the camera and defaults to the front facing camera.  Any way to have it default to the rear camera?

Unfortunately this widget does not include a select camera option. I will forward this situation to our developers so they can consider the implementation of this option.

They will contact you via this thread once they have an update on this request.

Let us know if we can assist you further.
