Drag and Drop Upload Widget is not workign as described on the Widgets page

The standard File Upload widget can set max file upload size limit. Since I want to have an image preview before the user can submit their images, I have to use the Image Upload Preview widget. The problem with the Image Upload Preview widget is, it doesn't allow me to set the file size limit, and by default, it seems like it only allows around 600KB size images, which is way to small.

So my question is, is there a way to increase size limit for Image Upload Preview widget? If the function is not already there, I don't mind doing a little bit of coding if that's needed. Thanks.

    Hello,

Thanks for the helpful answer. I tried the Drag and Drop Widget. However, I cannot get it showing the image preview. When I drag an image into the big box (with gray text of "Drag and Drop Files Here"), it shows the file in a list, and there's a "Begin Upload" button in the bottom of the widget. After clicking the button, it begins the upload and shows "completed" afterwards. No image preview at all.

The strange thing is the example URL for Drag and Drop Widget, http://form.jotformpro.com/form/41742688642968, behaves differently, and does show the image preview. I am wondering whether this is a version issue? Can I have the version in the above example URL?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I was able to see also the inconsistency you mentioned.

The Drag and Drop Upload widget seems to be different now from the one in the demo jotform http://form.jotformpro.com/form/41742688642968

During testing it behaves like this

Drag and Drop Upload Widget is not workign as described on the Widgets page Image 1 Screenshot 30

While using the demo jotform http://form.jotformpro.com/form/41742688642968 it works better like this

Drag and Drop Upload Widget is not workign as described on the Widgets page Image 2 Screenshot 41

If Ok with you, you can also clone the demo jotform http://form.jotformpro.com/form/41742688642968  and use it for your requirements for now.

Follow this user guide to clone the form  http://www.jotform.com/help/42-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL

I will submit a bug ticket report to our higher team support so that they can check the issue on the Drag and Drop Upload widget.

Please inform us if you need further assistance.

    Thanks.

    @LanaCustom

Hi thank you for bringing this up. I would like to know the reason why you want to preview the image before a user upload it? We updated the widget to a list version instead of showing the thumbnails if its an image.

Because we thought that when a user upload an image they can already review it on their computer before sending it to the server.

We can consider this feature if you give us a better use cases. We will probably going to add something there that you can preview the image only files before upload.

    Thanks,
