    Radio buttons not tabbable...

Asked by Tiffany on November 03, 2014 at 02:48 PM

How do I made a set of radio buttons something the user can tab through if they are on a laptop or desktop and going through the form. Right now, if I tab through my form it just skips them.

I apologize but I don't completely understand your question.
Can you please clarify it a bit more?

Are you referring to these radio buttons?

And you want that when people press the TAB key they can navigate through the radio buttons instead of skipping them?

If this is correct, then unfortunately this is the normal behavior of radio groups as they're treated as a single HTML element so you cannot navigate between the radio buttons using the TAB key.

However, if you're willing to try you can use JavaScript to achieve the effect that you want. Please take a look a this example: http://concepts.waetech.com/tabable_radios you will need to use the full source code of your form to use the technique described on this link.

Please let us know if you have further questions.
