Could you please explain who is the sender and who is the recipient.

    a) When a person fills out a form are they the sender? and when I receive it in my email box am I the recipient?

    and

    b) When I fill out a notification email for example, or an autoresponder email, am I the sender then? and the person who receives the email do they become the recipient?

The reason I ask is because I want to know the correct name and email etc, to insert in the sender and recipient fields in the editor when replying and sending the different types of emails one can send in jotform.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    a) When a person fills out a form are they the sender? and when I receive it in my email box am I the recipient?

This is correct. But please take note also that the Sender E-mail that you setup on the form Notifier is by default noreply@jotform.com - which means the email is coming from JotForm and sent to your email account which is the Recipient email.

    b) When I fill out a notification email for example, or an autoresponder email, am I the sender then? and the person who receives the email do they become the recipient?

For the Autoresponder E-mail, the Recipient E-mail by default is the E-mail field {Email} in the form.

This means for the autoresponder email, the email is being sent to the email address provided by the form respondent/user

I suggest reviewing this user guide also

Take note of the Recipient E-mail box
