    Why am I getting a File type error when I meet the file type requirements?

    I've created a Testiominal form through our Contat Us Page (creativewirewear.com)  I fill out the form.  Choose a jpg file to upload and I am getting the following error message:

    Upload Error

    jpg file extension is not allowed. You can only upload jpg, jpeg, png, gif files.


    The error contradicts itself. Why?

    I suggest reviewing this user guide also http://www.jotform.com/help/29-Upload-Field-Allowed-File-Types

    I was able to see the issue when I test submitted the jotform http://www.jotform.us/form/32664297992167 in your website 


    To fix the issue, edit the file type setting in your form. Make sure that the 1st file type extension name does not have 'space' character at the start of the name.


    I did that change on a test form, and it fixed the problem as I was able now to upload and submit the form with a file type having jpg extension name.

    I adjusted the extensions as you noted and it seemed to do the trick on our home system. I’ll do another test from my office just to make sure.
