    The storage accounting seems wrong

Asked by nathangold on September 21, 2011 at 07:01 PM

I deleted the files that were uploaded during some testing and the storage bar still shows them taking up space. How can I make this go back to zero to start over or is this cumulative?

If I delete things, why doesn't the number of storage go down?

Also, if I have things stored in my Dropbox, why is there a limit? Isn't the limit what my Dropbox limit is?

    Thank you,

    Nathan

    PS: I love your product!!!

    Hi Nathan,

On my end, your upload space shows 0B of 100MB used. There probably was a delay that caused the upload space to not update promptly.

Dropbox integration only sends a copy of the uploaded file to your Dropbox account. The file is still stored in our server, that is why there is a limit. Just delete the submission entries with the uploaded files to keep your account stats below the limit.

Note that deleting submissions will not delete the number of submissions used. It is cumulative, with a limit of 100 per month only.
