Can i out put a flat file to my dropbox instead of a Pdf

the form generates a folder for each record i only need a file that get bigger with each record. I only need a single file and records in my dropbox

Unfortunately, it is not possible to achieve your requirement.

Dropbox integration will always create a new PDF file and uploaded it to the respective dropbox folder which you have configured. It is not possible to add the submissions to the same file/pdf in dropbox.

If you need all the submissions data in one single file, you can export you submissions in pdf,excel or csv. You can also integrate your form with google spreadsheet and this will copy all the submission records in one single google spreadsheet.
