Form AutoFill vs field No autofill

I have a key field in my form that I do not want autofilled but the rest of the form can be autofill.

How would turn off autofill for a field, when autofill for the form is on?  Is this possible?

Note autofill for the form is currently turned off, because it is causing the orders to be incorrect....

    Hi,

You can update the value of the field that you do NOT want to be auto filled.

    Check this user guide https://www.jotform.com/help/268-How-to-Insert-Text-or-Mathematical-Caculation-into-a-field-using-a-Condition

what you can do is fill-in that field with something else (a character "-" maybe).

This way, it will create an illusion that it is not being auto filled like the rest of the other fields.

Hope this help. Please tell us if this cannot work for you.

    Thanks.

As the one field drives what information is displayed (conditional formating) and the field is marked as required, I want the user to select one of the options, so I was looking for the field to default to blank requiring the user to make a proper selection.   If it was pre populated with a value, they would not be forced into making a selection.

I not sure you understood my issue.  I know how to make a default selection.  I want to turn this off for the field (no default), which is possible, but with autofill on the form, it uses the last time the user was in the form selection and for the field I do NOT want to have it either defaulted or autofill.  the rest of the form can be autofill, but I would like to be able to make a field not autofill or selected.

    Is that possible?
