How come so many submissions happened while I was creating my forms?

Notified of submission limit. However, we've only submitted a few test runs.  The rest of the submissions appeared during the development.

Not complaining, just curious how it works.  Still in the development phase, so no web url.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I see that you have about 11 submissions on each jotform. I presume that this all happened during testing the form.

Now what I would suggest is to use Test Email button instead of submitting the jotform as that will show you how it all looks and if you need to change anything else while not using your submission count.

Also while working on jotform layout, you might set one field as required and not fill it out so that you do not submit before you wanted to, or just hide the submit button.

I will however lower your submission count to 70 at this time so that you can continue with your tests and creating jotforms.

Do let us know if you have any further questions.

    Best Regards,
    Ben

    Hi Ben,

Thanks for the fast response and for adjusting the submission count.  That was very kind of you.

I think the problem is the forms are linked.  The first page gathers customer/job info.  Then, to gather specific data for each room, a redirect url takes the customer to their selected room.  I knew this would result in multiple submissions once it’s online, but just couldn’t figure out how this was happening as I created the forms.

I’ll be sure to use the “Test E-mail”.

Thanks so much again!  Hope you have a great weekend.

    Best,
    Sharon

    Hi Sharon,

In behalf of my colleague, you're most welcome. Yes it is right, the submission count limit/quota is for each account and the totality of it's submissions. When you fill out a form using preview button or visiting the form URL or any other, and made a successful submission it is already added to your quote/counter. I was also thinking if I can suggest the page break so that you can have most of your forms in one, but it seems that you do have a lot of fields for each type of the form, this might probably make the form slow if you put them all together. I think your doing great in your form, I would like to suggest also to visit our Apps page, this might help you have an idea how you can manage the data that you have further.

    Thank you.
