How Can I ensure the dates and times I inputted in the Calendar Feature do not automatically get reset?

Asked by soccerforlife on September 23, 2011 at 06:16 PM

    Hello,

I have been experiencing frustration with ensuring the dates and times I set in the Calendar feature of my registration form get saved.  After 4 attempts, after ensuring I saved the data, the dates and times get reset automatically.  I tried the alternative of copying the code of my form onto my website, and it turns out the the calendar dates and times also undergo some automatic restting there as well. You help is greatly appreciated-- I am expecting visitors to my site to fill out the registration form starting tomorrow!

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Thanks,

    Patrick

p.s. my website is not published yet.  the DNS Server is currently being updated.

    Hi Patrick,

First of all, thank you for using JotForm.

Are you referring to setting up a default value for JotForm's Date Time field? If so, I'm sorry to tell you that it is currently not available. The "Default Time" property of the said field only makes it pre-populate with the current time from the user's computer/device.

The best thing I would suggest is for you to first turn the "Default Time" off, edit the form's full source code and change the Date Time field's values.

Hope this helps. If you do need further clarifications, you are more than welcome to contact us again.
