    Not understanding your last sentence.

Right now I'm NOT trying to embed source code on any website. Rather I was trying to edit the source code - (hoping that I could have achieved that WITHIN JOTFORM - but it looks like I cannot edit the source code within that window ?? correct? I ran a browser search for the field input-53 so I can see the word HIDDEN that I want to change to visible - but alas That window does not allow me to change it.

Is it possible to edit the source code from within JOTFORM - i'm not ready to embed the form on a website but - I can do if that is what is needed?

Can you explain steps a bit further?

    Please?

    Hi,

but it looks like I cannot edit the source code within that window ?? correct?

This is correct. You cannot edit the forms full source code within the Form Builder.

I ran a browser search for the field input-53 so I can see the word HIDDEN that I want to change to visible - but alas That window does not allow me to change it.

You must be referring to the PO Number field in your jotform http://www.jotformeu.com/form/43122785320347

That field is always hidden automatically because its a Unique ID field identifier. For its use, you cannot un-hidden this field.

Do you need a similar field to Unique ID field that is not hidden? You can achieve that by using the regular Textbox (from Form Tools) and then use Calculation widget to create unique number.

Hope this help. Inform us if you need further assistance.

    Thanks.

    Thank you Jonathan,

can you guide me how to go about setting up an ordinary field using CALCULATION so that each new form entry is given a unique number? (I have tried)
