Number of Options in One Drop DownAsked by ewinder on November 17, 2014 at 03:37 PM
I was wondering if there is a limit to the number of options you can have in one drop down. For instance, could you have 200 options listed for folks to scroll through?
Yes, you can add any number of values in it, but you might want to consider breaking it into several dropdowns instead since such a big number of options would not be easy to use by people filling out the jotform.
For example, you can break it into several dropdowns and position few radio buttons above the hidden dropdown. Based on the answers show the required dropdown.
To avoid any complication in answering your question, yes, you can add as many as 200 options in the dropdown found under Form Tools.
If you search through widgets at the bottom you can find some other dropdown options, but they however could have some limits in the number of items.
Do let us know if you have any further questions.
