Noticed that this has come up a few times over the last month, and a couple of people have been told that it's the way that they have set up their forms; but after doing a bit of testing, I've found that since towards the end of October, Jotform has a problem with characters in Mailchimp's Group names.
So if a user enters their email address into a Jotform, they are added to the Mailchimp list, but if the group has a certain character in it, the user will not be assigned to it, and Mailchimp will give an API error of 'List_InvalidInterestGroup'.
So far the characters I've noticed a problem with are the following : , ; &
I was just wondering if there's an ETA on when this will be fixed, as it can look a bit messy to the user when you're having to find workarounds to the above characters.

I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.
I did test this scenario and I am able to replicate the issue you are having. If I integrate form with mailchimp and select the group name which has characters like "&", the data is saved in the mailchimp list but the group name is not assigned. The rest of the characters you have mentioned above does not seems to create any issues.
I am reporting it to our back end team. We will not be able to give you an ETA on this but we will get back to you as soon as we have any update from them.
