    Hello HopePrints,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I am uncertain if I understand the question correctly, but based on what I understand, do you want to add an image to the form link once it was shared with others? If yes, this can be possible, and doing this is easy. Follow the steps and the screencast below:

    • On the orange navigation toolbar, go to the Build tab.
    • Click on the logo properties and download or save the image.
    • Rename the image and upload it again. (There are codes on the title name that prevented it to be used in Jotform, especially, if the image was downloaded from the internet).
    • Then try to copy the link and share it on a Facebook messenger-like platform to test.

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?

Give it a try and let us know if you have other questions

Unfortunately this did not work. I tried several different images just out of curiousity. When I debug the link on Facebook, I get the following error. The image URL it is referring to is the Jotform logo. 1669319076 637fc9a4aae49 637fc9a4aae0b Screenshot 10

    Hi HopePrints

I cloned your form and I was able to reproduce the error. I tried to change the logo on the form to see if the image will show when the form is shared on Facebook. However, it is not showing any logo when the form is shared. I also used the Facebook Sharing Debugger tool and it seems that it is not fetching the uploaded image from the logo settings.

To isolate the issue, I also created a new form from scratch and uploaded a logo and the logo is showing when the form is shared on Facebook or other platforms. The Facebook Sharing Debugger tool can also detect the uploaded image from the new form.

I have escalated your ticket to our Developer Team to investigate what's causing the error. Although we don't know exactly when the issue will be fixed, we’ll circle back to this thread when we have an update.

    Hi HopePrints,

Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately, I don’t have an update yet. I know that it’s taking some time to resolve and that is very stressful. I’ve marked this as a Priority and reached out to our Developer Team again.

We’ll let you know as soon as there is an update. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

    Hi HopePrints.

Thank you for your patience. You can easily add a link thumbnail to your form link by following the steps. You can pass the first step if you already have a logo in the form.

    1. Adding Logo to Your Form

    • Go to form builder and open your form
    • Click the “Add Your Logo” button on the page’s top.
    • Add an image with the right panel

    2. Restriction Check

Right now your form link thumbnail is ready. But social media platforms have some restrictions on this thumbnail. You should care about this restriction when uploading a form logo to your form. If the uploaded logo is not suitable, Jotform’s logo will visible as the thumbnail instead of your form logo.

Check out these “How to Change a Preview Image when you Share a Form on Social Media” for the thumbnail restrictions of social media platforms.
