    test email sent to default email not to the email I set up

    as stated in the subject, I set up an email address to receive the submissions which is different from the jot form one (the one you call the default email). 

    When I sent the test email, it was sent to the default one.

    Hi Silvia,

    Test Email button is designed to send an email to the account primary email address (default one). If you want to test and check if the new recipient will receive the email notification, you have to preview the form and submit to it. We keep it this way so the button can't be abuse.
