Embedded jotform getting stuck on please wait

After accessing the form on our website and entering their information, everal people have experienced a "please wait" message and never receive a confirmation.  The transaction ultimately does not go through.

To my understanding you are having an issue with users whom are unable to submit your jotform because it is getting stuck when submitted.

Is this only happening on iPad? Or is it happening on computer as well?

There is probably a conflict between the form scripts and your website scripts which is most likely the reason why it is getting stuck. So I would suggest trying to use only the iframe embed method for adding your jotform onto your webpage which should resolve this problem because it surrounds your jotform within a protective frame to prevent this issue from occurring.
