    Hello there,

I am just starting a new single temp page so please excuse the simplicity or look atm.. However, I want the input field on my page to look as it is now and when a person inputs their email address for it on the same page to say thanks or not a valid email address.  I don't want it to go to another page.  Rather, just a simple, thank you right there where the form is.

Is this possible? If so, can you redirect me to some information on making this happen on your site.

    Kind regards,
    Stephen

    Hi Stephen,

You could accomplish this by using our E-mail Validator widget.

It will allow you to add a custom message and CSS for fine tuning the messages shown to your visitors, while in the same time allowing you to confirm that the email was right.

You can see here How to Add a Widget to your Form.

    Best Regards,
    Ben

Hmm... I do thank you for the response.. However, I don't know how to make my form work while maintaining the way it looks now.

I need specific instructions on how to make my form look the way it does now, send then email and just say thank you in that spot without redirecting to a new page.  Can this be done?

    Hi,

I would just like to confirm.

This is the jotform in question: http://www.jotform.us/form/43243876111148

It will have just the email field and submit button?

I need specific instructions on how to make my form look the way it does now, send then email and just say thank you in that spot without redirecting to a new page.

Now this is what I understood: You do not want to have anything changed in the way the jotform looks, but after the the user clicks on submit, you do not want your users to be redirected to a new page, but instead, to have a popup or something like that say "thank you".

Do let us know if that is right and in case it is, can you tell us why you do not want to have your jotform get redirected to a new page? This will help us to understand what you are after.

If I misunderstood you can you please give us more details?

    Best Regards,
    Ben

    nope..

I want my form to remain like it is here:

    http://www.miramarroyale.com/

click that link.  When a person clicks submit I want it to say "thanks for joinging" right there.. no redirects, no other thank you page.. just a thanks right there in place of the form. I want to keep the form the way it looks on that page right now.

I am assuming I would need something like ajax to accomplish this.  I am wondering if jotform has this ability.

    Kind regards,

    Stephen

    Hi Stephen,

I want my form to remain like it is here:

I went to the website first time, but, it was just as it is at this time - without any jotform being shown.

Now, basically, we do not support AJAX to be added to the jotform unless you get jotforms source code and implement the AJAX part yourself.

Another alternative would be to change the thank you page with a redirect to the same jotform, but with the parameter set that would tell you that the submission was already made and based on that, show the thank you message.

Doing it like this would seem as if the thank you message was shown after submitting.
