    Account over limit and email notification of the same

    Can I get an email notifying me of when I am close to reaching my limits with the free version?

    Hello NUsicTV,

    We do send a warning email whenever you reach close to submission limits. Have you not received the email yet as your account is already scheduled to downgrade on November 24, 2014? 

    You have utilized 112.08 MB of upload storage apace where in free plan you only have 100 MB of storage space.

    Please be noted that deleting a submission record will also delete the attached file as well. Please go ahead and delete some submission records from your form and ensure you upload space utilization is within the allowed limit.

    Hi Ashwin,

    I have just received an email to say the account has been disabled!! Presumably this is because I have as you say reached the 100MB limit for storage. I cannot see the current amount of storage I am using anywhere within your system so how can I tell how much I am using? Also I deleted over half of my submissions last week before you sent me the message above so surely that made a difference to the amount I am using? If not then how does it work because you have still disabled my account!!!!

    I have now deleted even more submissions but still nothing..... You mentioned that my account is scheduled to downgrade. What exactly does that mean? Can you please respond as soon as possible as I have some important clients wanting to submit content.

    Yes, that is correct.

    You should see avatar like looking icon. Clicking on it will show you the current usage.

    Also I deleted over half of my submissions last week before you sent me the message above so surely that made a difference to the amount I am using?

    You are still using 104.87 MB.

    If not then how does it work because you have still disabled my account!!!!

    You will need to remove more submissions. You do not need to remove the submissions without any files being attached. The storage space is used only by those files that get uploaded with your jotform.

    You mentioned that my account is scheduled to downgrade. What exactly does that mean?

    Yes, my colleague wanted to say that at that time your account would be disabled.

    - What you should do is download all files that you have and need to keep and remove the submissions with the files attached to them. This will then lower your available space.

    Ah I see where the problem has come from. Some of the submissions had music files attached.

    How do I get these to go to dropbox instead?

    I have now deleted the submissions so does that mean we are good to go?

    Hi,

    Yes, you are currently on 2.05MB of storage use and your account was already enabled - this happens as soon as you go under 100MB - the limit of the plan you are on.

    So I deleted all of my submissions the other day when I didn't need to because they had no attachments? You should make it clear what you require and how people go about implementing it. None of this is clear from your site and I have deleted important documents to try to combat you disabling my account. Not very good for me, or you in the long run.

    Hi,

    I am sorry to hear that you had removed important document, which is why we always suggest downloading important files before removing them from the submissions.

    Once you integrate the DropBox into your jotform, you should not have these issues since there should be a backup copy (this will be handled on your other thread shortly).
