How to have 2 Captcha Field added in JotForm

Asked by drjax on November 22, 2014 at 10:03 AM

I'm trying to use Captcha but have two pages.  If user selects option 1, then Page 2 shows for transaction completion thru Paypal.  Captcha widget is there.  If user selects option 2, then Page 3 shows for transaction completion thru Paypal. Captcha is NOT there, can't add another one, tried hiding it then making it visible, but only works for page 2.  Mystery to me.  Here's my form:

    Hi,

As you have found out already, you CANNOT have more than one Captcha Field in the form.

Since the Captcha Field is also always a mandatory or *Required field, you cannot hide it in the form using conditional statement. If hidden, the requirement will cause problem because it will not be completed.

I suggest reviewing this user guide also http://www.jotform.com/help/205-How-to-Add-a-Captcha to learn more details about the captcha field.

I am not sure yet why you wanted to use the Captcha Field in conditional statement (like in your jotform http://www.jotformpro.com/form/43248002400943) BUT I want to tell you that the Captcha field is not for the purpose. So, perhaps you can do away with your conditional statement by NOT using the captcha field instead.

I checked your conditional statement and it has to do with the Email option

If I may suggest, Email validation is much more useful if you wanted to make sure an email address is provided.

Check the Email Validator widget that do this here http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/e-mail_validator

Here is the demo jotform http://form.myjotform.com/form/41072143437548 that have Email validation.

Hope this help. Inform us if you need further assistance.

    Thanks.
