I have set up an email notification and added the form fields that I'd like to be able to see. However, whenever it comes through, it is missing some of the information even when that information was filled in on the application. For instance, student last name and first name. How can I fix this?

    Hello Jonathon,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm sorry you're having problems with the Notification Email. Most of the time, if we remove it and then add it back, that solves the problem. Let me help you do that

    • In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    • In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
    • On the left side of the Notification field, click on the Trash Can icon, and delete the existing Notification Email.

Now that we've removed the old Notification Email, we'll just add a new one. Let's do it:

    • While you're still under the Emails tab on the left side of the page in Form Builder, click on + Add an Email.
    • Next, select Notification Email.
    • That's it! Don't forget to click the Save button and you're all set.

However, regarding the first and last name on the top of your form. I noticed that it has an odd unique name which could possibly be why it's not being added to the Notification. You might want to delete the existing fields and re-add a new one to generate a new unique name, or you can update it manually but make sure to set it up without spaces.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
