    Switching Account Name

Asked by richgeasey on September 26, 2011 at 03:45 PM

I opened my JotForms account using my name as the account name. I am doing a form for a friend and he would like to maintain it himself. Is there are way to change account names, or export the form so he can maintain it.

    Thanks!

PS- I asked a question Friday afternoon and got an answer at 11:00PM that night. Awesome! Thanks.

    Hi Rich.

You can clone the form you have been preparing for your friend.

You just need to create a new account for him, then follow the instructions detailed in the link below to import the form you have created into his account.

    Hi Rich,

First your friend has to sign up for a JotForm account and once he is logged in you may recreate the form in the new account with the use of the Import feature.

In addition to what fxr posted you will also need to update the page where the form was added and replace it with the code of the new form so that the incoming and new submissions are counted against the quota of your friend's account.

    Hope this helps.
