Will deleting a submission will free up one Submission Limits set in form?

    Hiya,

Just a couple of quick questions about submission limits:

    1) If I delete a submission (eg because someone cancelled) will that refree the space towards the submission limit or will i need to add +1 to the limit?

    and

    2)

Is there a way to display the number of slots remaining off the form itself?
I know there's a widget i can use to show it on the form proper, but I'd like to, for example, show the number of remaining slots on my sidebar. Is that possible?

    Hello twrarepairexchange,

    1) If I delete a submission (eg because someone cancelled) will that refree the space towards the submission limit or will i need to add +1 to the limit?

Let me try to understand your question bit clearly. You mean to say that you have set the "Submission Limit" of your form, correct. And you mean to ask if one of the submission is deleted, will it free up the limit you have set. Is that correct?

Yes it will free up the submission limit you have set in your form.

Example: IF you have set 3 submission limit in your form and you have already received 3 submissions. That means receiving more submissions is not possible. Now if you delete one of the submission record you have received and enable the form(when submission limit is reached, the form is disabled automatically), you should be able to receive one more submission in your form.

    Hope this answers your query.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

We would like to keep one question per thread. We have moved your second question to a new thread and you will be answered here:  http://www.jotform.com/answers/466389
