Is there anyway to do this when the form is embedded? We are looking to
prepopulate the "Position Applying For" section based on a link. We will
be linking to the form from different job postings and would like this area
to populate based on the link they clicked on/job posting they came from.

You seems to have used your form's full source code to embed it in your web page. It is still possible to pre-populate fields of your web page by using your web page URL instead of form URL. Please click on the following URL which will populate the "Position Applying For" field: http://www.ugsc.ca/careers_application.html?positionApplying14=TestPosition
Where ever you have the link which users can click, you can use the above URL and that should solve your problem.
