    Thank you for contacting us.

It is possible to use prepopulation based on a form link. Please see the following guide to get the idea on how this works:

Prepopulating fields to your JotForm via URL parameters

Please provide us with additional details if you need any further assistance on this.

Thank you for this! Currently we have the form embedded in our Website page
    http://www.ugsc.ca/careers_application.html
Is there anyway to do this when the form is embedded? We are looking to
prepopulate the "Position Applying For" section based on a link. We will
be linking to the form from different job postings and would like this area
to populate based on the link they clicked on/job posting they came from.
    Thank you!

    Hello Shirley,

You seems to have used your form's full source code to embed it in your web page. It is still possible to pre-populate fields of your web page by using your web page URL instead of form URL. Please click on the following URL which will populate the "Position Applying For" field:  http://www.ugsc.ca/careers_application.html?positionApplying14=TestPosition

Where ever you have the link which users can click, you can use the above URL and that should solve your problem.

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!
