Would it be possible to host a HTML file needed for my jotform on your servers?Asked by goquote on December 02, 2014 at 11:01 AM
I have had a professional design some forms for me using jotform. With the latest form he has designed he has informed me that everything I wanted was not possible with css and jotform so he needed to host various parts of the form on a free web hosting site.
Please see attached html file. that's the file need to be hosted.
You can try to embed directly from jotform, the result will be different from it.
If not using it, some feature will be removed. they are:
1. the clickable tabs at the top.
2. at the "contact detalils" page, if you click second radio button more field will appear.
Please let me know your choice.
I would like this to be held somewhere more secure. My site is hosted on wix (html5) and Robit has informed me that it is not possible to host this file there.
How can I get around this issue
I do apologize for any issue that you are experiencing.
Can you provide us to a link of your jotform along with the file so that we can look into this further.
you can find the form here:
its the one right at the bottom... that looks like the following....
Thanks for your help!
I took a look at the iframe that was added on the page: http://www.robitmuzaki.byethost7.com/signup-form.html
Now since that includes some custom code, you can not add it back to your jotform account, but what I would like to suggest is to talk with your designer about next few things:
Form Tabs (to add tabs at the top of the jotform)
Iframe Embed (to hold another page/jotform)
Show or Hide multiple fields at once using form collapse tool (to hide and show fields without the need for extra page)
It is easy to miss them so he needed to make a custom solution, or had to do that for some other reason, but I would just like to give them here and if you can use them, then you would be able to have the jotform's code uploaded to your website directly - without a need for any other pages hosted somewhere else.
Do let us know if you have any further questions.
