    I am spending too much time on this.  I'm about to jump!!!

    The changes I make don't stick.  The colors I use don't stay.  Once I preview, all I've done is gone!! About to cry!   Everything I've done over the last THREE hours has not been saved and can't be seen.   Slashes wrists!!

    Please don't launch this until it's ready.

    What is going on?  This is too glitchy!!!  Inconsistent.  Dons sackcloth and ashes!   It shouldn't be this difficult.

    Hi,

    I presume that this has happened when you got logged out at one point during your edits. Now all changes (if you click on the Save button) are saved and should be available, even the ones you did not click on Save button.

    To check this, please follow this guide: How to View Form Revision History

    As you follow it you should see the version that you have worked on as well and reset the jotform to that state.

    Do let us know how it goes after checking it.

    Best Regards,
    Ben

    Thanks for your reply.  I thought the same thing that I had been logged out. But I worked on this last night and the same things happen.  Yuck.

    The form I create in form designerForm Designer [beta]: Saved changes not shown Image 1 Screenshot 30

    This is what I see in the preview. Ugh.  I think has something to do with starting the form in the old designer and editing it in the new form designer.  I

    SUGGESTION:  t would help if you had rollover instructions for all parts of a form on the new form designer.  I often don't know what part of the form I'm editing.  :-)

    Hi,

    I thought the same thing that I had been logged out. But I worked on this last night and the same things happen.

    If it keeps happening to you to get logged out, I would suggest making few changes (30minnutes to an hour) and saving them, followed by going back to the Form Builder to see if that helps, although it should be OK for you to work on it entire day in the Form Designer since it loads over the Form Builder.

    This is what I see in the preview. Ugh.

    Can you please tell us if one of the screenshots is how it should look and another how it looks when previewed - we would need a bit more details.

    I think has something to do with starting the form in the old designer and editing it in the new form designer.

    You should always first add fields in the Form Builder, then change the styles in the Form Designer - Form Designer is only an extension of Form Builder that helps with styling of the jotform.

    I SUGGESTION:  t would help if you had rollover instructions for all parts of a form on the new form designer.  I often don't know what part of the form I'm editing.

    I am not sure what you mean exactly as rollover instructions? Do you mean some kind of a tooltip next to the option/tool explaining what it would do?

    Best Regards,
    Ben

    I'm still having the same issue above.  I want my form to look like what I designer in form designer.  I do NOT want the preview look. I am using the form presets and getting this.

    Check out this NEW form where I am having the same issue.  Ugh.

    This is the form and I designed and want.

    But this is what visitors see!! I do NOT want this.  It is ugly.  Please help.  Thanks.  I need to get rid of the background white on the wording.  The is not a picture.  Those are words typed into the text field in form builder.  I want the blue color gone.  I want the form to look like what I designed above.

    This is not exactly the same issue as above, but as it is simple to fix I did not move it to a new thread for you.

    Please inject this CSS to your jotform:

    ul.form-section {
        background: none transparent;
    }

    This will remove the blue color over the original one.

    Following that, this code will make the background the same color as the header is:

    form > div.form-all {
        background-color: #f5f5f5;
    }

    Do let us know how it goes.
