[Infusionsoft CRM] DateTile field is not forwarded properly

Asked by kauseway on December 05, 2014 at 07:49 AM

I am trying to connect a form to infusionsoft.  Under the select jotform fields it only has 8. It is not showing the email card on date (date field) and sales price calculation field (hidden field that calculates price to be charged). Is there a limited 3 of fields shown or do you not support certain types of fields?  any work around?

So I was able to put in a text field instead of a calculation field and that showed up and allowed me to integrate.

I was then able to find a calendar called Localized calendar that did show up in the integration box and link to infusionsoft. BUT it did not pass the information over.

    Hi,

Apologies for the inconvenience that this might have caused you.

Please do try the following troubleshoots, it might solve the problem.

    1. Clear your form's and browser's cache.

    2. Remove integration and re-integrate Infusionsoft using this link: http://apps.jotform.com/app/infusionsoft_integration.

    3. For common fields like date and email, please do try using the default that we have in "Quick Tools"

    4. Avoid duplicate fields like 2 or more date fields so that the there won't be any conflicts on integration.

I hope this helps. Let us know if after trying the above solutions the problem still persist.

    Thank you.

Ok I cleared everything and reset infusionsoft and used the default calendar. Also attempted to use the 3 types of separators.  / . -.  It wont pass anything into the date field of infusionsoft.

Here the form I was trying.

Update:  So I created another text field in infusionsoft and it did pass something! But it was junk.  Here is what it passed

    31st December 1969 07:00:00 PM   <=----

I then created a field for date and time and it worked!! But again the date and time are wrong. I dont think it is passing the information right. Its like it wasnt hooked up yet.  Can you fix this?  I attached an image of infusionsoft showing that it did pass the information but it is not right.

Usually it is recommended to make sure you have fields of the same type so that the mentioned data is sent to the associated field in infusionsoft. Please note that the integration will only work with specified fields types and that is why it wasn't working before but when you swapped it to the date field then it did.

How are you wanting the date to be then since it's not right? Was that in the correct format at least? Or no?

Hello, I agree.  I setup a date field infusionsoft (see giftsend date) but nothing came across. I then "tested" it by creating a text field and that is when I saw the format that jotform was sending. 12-31-1969 7:00pm.  No matter what I selected that is how the text field was populated.

I then got it to work (see dateinsert above) when I selected date/time field in infusionsoft. But look at the junk that is coming across. NOT the date I selected but 12-31-1969.   It is my opinion that the connection with infusionsoft is working but this field has not been setup with you guys. I think if you test it you will see that.  I can really figure out what else I could do on my end.

REcap: The date coming thru is not accurate and I think is a bug or needs fixing on jotform. Thanks!

We will add a ticket about the issue with the DateTime field in Infusionsoft integration to our system.

However, I do not know if or when this can be fixed. It appears to be a third party integration (not a native integration added by JotForm Dev Team), and it is probably that we will not be able to adjust it.

As far as I understand, the integration was implemented by Mark from http://infusedmj.com/. You might consider contacting him to see if he can help.

We will update this thread if we have any updates. Thank you.

it's still not passing the dates properly,

When i set the date to map over to the field, it doesnt send it as 04/18/2016

Jotform sends it as 6th May 2015 which is not how infusionsoft receives it,

How to pass the date as 04/18/2016 format?
