How do you check on the "honesty" of votes?Asked by aquades on December 08, 2014 at 07:26 AM
How do you check on the "honesty" of votes in the "User's choice" and check if at all? And why is the link to the page with all forms of participants does not extend active on the Internet to vote was really honest, not just locally among our friends?
This is a re-post of a comment on Vote for Users Choice Award!
All votes are saved and counted by our system without any influence from our side or any other. Once the votes are in, the jotforms that were submitted for the competition are then given to the judges to give their vote.
They will judge based on their own experience and how they liked the jotform they saw.
I can assure you that besides the personal scores each judge will make, all other points are awarded as they are brought into the system.
If you have any further questions, feel free to ask us.
My colleague's response is partially correct.
The judges vote on all categories except the User's Choice award.
The User's Choice is decided solely on voting. We have checks to ensure the integrity of the voting. For instance, if someone sends a vote for the same form from the same IP address, it won't count. I believe we use the social network APIs to tally the votes in the end.
Thanks for the inquiry.
