Our recent Facebook promotion had a huge turnout. We received 17,000 responses before shutting it down. We have tried over a dozen times to export the data to Excel and the export never completes, even after running all night twice.
The account is dfresonke. We only have the one form.Page URL:

Have you tried the CSV format? CSV format is significantly smaller than other file formats. A 1kb CSV file is equivalent to approximately 10kb in excel format both having the same content.
Once you have successfully downloaded it, you can then open and save it using Excel.
I hope this helps.

In addition to what Myth has shared, you may also use the search box below the grid in order to look for a particular entry and export it into csv:
If you can still recall when a particular entry was submitted, you can also filter by a particular submission date, click the gear icon and select Custom Time Frame in the Time Frame dropdown menu as shown below:
When you're done filtering by date or city, click Download as CSV. Please try it and let us know how it goes.
Let us know if you need further assistance. Thank you for using JotForm!

I'm having the same problem. Won't download the Excel or the CSV for 1700 entries...

WHen I clicked on the cog and deselected to hide the empty fields it suddenly let me download the csv.

That's a very interesting fix. :) We will look into that.
