Is it possible to embed a PDF file in my form?

I want to be able to add a widget or something to my book order form so people can view the ebook before they purchase.

Yes, it's possible to do this by embedding your PDF file using a Text field and an iframe tag as described in this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/153-How-to-Display-a-PDF-Document-On-Your-Form
