Can I change the appearance of the email notification I receive when my form is submitted?

Asked by sixtowns on December 09, 2014 at 01:02 PM

Is there any why you can change the appearance of a submitted form when lands in your in box. I would like the submitted form to look pretty much like the form itself.

The completed form that lands in my in box is many pages long, and way of the submitted form looking like the web form?

If I understand correctly, you're referring to the email notification that you receive when your form is submitted. Is that correct?

If so, yes, you can modify the layout of the email notification.
However, there are some things you need to consider if you're going to do this.

    1. If you add/remove a field in your form, you'll need to manually update your email notification accordingly since it won't be automatically updated.

    2. Since you want to use the same layout of your form, you might consider using pure HTML code (you can see the source code of your form to copy the layout and use it in the notifier) instead of editing the notifier using the editor. (This is only a suggestion, you can also do this using the editor)

I hope this makes sense to you.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.
    Thank you.
