i've created a new form and I'd like new submissions to be sent to a colleague's email address, not mine. I've tried editing that email address and on the form it shows that it's supposed to be sent to the third party email, but it keeps sending them to my personal email address (which happens to be the default address in my profile).
can you please assist in correcting this asap?

You have properly changed the email recipient on your form Email Notification.
The issue is caused by the way how the 'Test Email' button works. That button is being permanently attached to the account email address. There is no way to change that behavior, but it should not affect the email delivery to the specified email recipient.
In other words, the form entries are being emailed to the correct recipient(s). You can submit the form in order to test the email delivery.
