Form doesn't show in iframe-embeded page inside facebook fanpageAsked by EpicStudio on December 13, 2014 at 11:43 PM
I have this contact form woring perfectly on my website: http://grupoimaginarq.com/l/fb-casas-residencial-arbolada-cancun/ The big one before the footer.
But when I embed the form on my facebook fanpage it just doesn't show up. Here's my public URL where the site is embeded inside the fanpage https://www.facebook.com/pages/Imaginarq-Arquitectura/549731645037863?ref=ts&sk=app_190322544333196
Neither the foother form or the one before of the footer show inside the fanpage.
Should I embed the form inside the page with different method? Will it be causing conflict? All jotform forms in my ste are embeded with the iframe method.
Thanks for your help..!
It is good to use the iframe embed method, so I would not change that, but what you would need to do is to change the URL that it points out to.
Currently it is pointing to a non-secure jotform - jotform over HTTP protocol, while Facebook pages are on HTTPS.
Browsers will not allow pages in HTTPS to load HTTP content in order to protect the privacy and security of the page, which is why the jotform is hidden.
I should note that once you switch to secure URL, you will be using SSL submissions which are limited to 10 for a free plan.
Do let us know if you have any further questions.
Thanks Ben. Will the info in this topic be enough to make my form secure and add it to my page?
Yes, that is the correct guide to enable SSL to your forms.
