Are the themes included in the Theme Store mobile responsive?

Asked by robinowsley on December 17, 2014 at 03:20 PM

Hi there.  This may very well be a a stupid question, but I might be interested in redesigning some of my forms, possibly using one of the new themes (under the new themes tab).  But which are fully responsive and mobile-friendly?

I'm assuming those within the area labeled "mobile" actually are.  But then if I assume that, does that mean all the others . . . are not?  I looked in the FAQ, the User Guide, and clicked on several themes, and I'm just not finding information about this anyplace.

Surely we're not supposed to test them all out one-by-one to find out?

Or is this lack of specific information regarding that because I'm supposed to assume they ALL are?  (This might be where the inherent stupidity of my question comes into play.)

I would think any theme that would be any kind of clever to use these days would have to be, but I was really hoping someone could officially confirm this for me without me having to spend hours experimenting to find out on a one-by-one basis.  Thanks!

You can find the forms that have the mobile tag here: https://www.jotform.com/theme-store/tagged/mobile. By default our forms are set to be mobile responsive (therefore most of the themes should be mobile responsive), however, in some occasions someone would want to disable this feature so the form looks the same either if you're seeing it on a computer or a mobile device and then the form stops being responsive.

Either way, if you like a theme that is not tagged as mobile you can use it and then enable the mobile responsiveness in your form (in case is not mobile responsive already) after you have applied the theme to it, and this will make your form mobile responsive.

In order to do this you can do either of the options below:

Method 1: Open the form in the form designer and look for the Form Layout tab, open it and check the Make this form responsive checkbox.

Method 2: Open the form in the Form Builder, click on the Setup & Embed options, then Preferences, then set the Responsive Form option to Yes.

Method 3: Add the mobile responsive widget to your form.

    Hope this helps.

Please let us know if you have further questions.
    Thanks.
