We have two types of email alerts available on forms:
1) Email Notifications to the form owners.
2) Email Autoresponders to the form users.
These emails are being sent upon the form submission.
This is also possible to send the email alerts based on conditional logic:
For example, you might have some internal confirmation section on your form, and send the Autoresponders based on confirmation (when you edit submission to "confirm" it) with conditional logic.
