Feature Request: Adding a dropdown request of location in "From" field in Driving Distance Widget

Asked by fortworthcouriers on December 18, 2014 at 07:17 PM

Is there a way to pass data from the Geocomplete widget over to Driving distance widget to calculate the mileage?

Unfortunately, passing a value of a separate field inside the "From" field inside the Driving Distance widget is not possible right now. Although, passing the results of it is possible.

I see that this is a good addition and is a reasonable as a request. I'll escalate this to our developers so that take can take a closer look and if they can implement it in the widget.

For now, the "From" field in the widget does search for the matching location in Google Maps even if you just type it in place text, although a dropdown of suggestion would be nice.

    Thank you.

What I'm trying to do, and I don't know if it's something I can do in this environment, is have the user enter two address and then the driving miles be returned. Then, I want to use the mileage to calculate a cab fee which will depend on user input conditionals and the mileage.
