Form not working using Stripe payment gateway

  • 1to1
Asked on December 19, 2014 at 6:28 AM

Customer just tried to placed an order via the form. It has failed twice now, stating errors. Would not let them 'go back' to rectify and make changes. So had to start again and input required ALL details.

Can you fix the form please?

Why do I not get a notification when somebody tried to submit the form and there is an error?  Why doi not get a notification when somebody starts to fill in the form and does not complete it?

This question has been moved as a new thread

    Form is on

As I check your webpage, it seems to be working fine with the Stripe Integration. When I enter test credit card information to submit the form, it is displaying an error that the card was declined. I think the error should be something related to the credit card not working. I see a successful submission with payment today with this JotForm. If it is possible, you can check it by yourself by using a different credit card or ask your customer to try paying with a different credit card.

If you feel that the issue still persists, you can try refreshing the Stipe API Keys. If you are not using these API keys anywhere else, could you try refreshing your API keys from Stripe dashboard? And then connect JotForm with new API keys.

Hope this works. Let us know if we can be any further help. We will be happy to help.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Have you tried using "Connect with Stripe" instead of inserting manually the API keys?

Also, you have mentioned you're getting errors, may I know what error messages or if you can share us a screenshot of what you are seeing when a payment is being done, that would help us a lot.

    We'll wait for your response.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I tried checking the form and it shows that it is working properly. I did a test submission and got an error that the card was declined, the reason is that it is an invalid card. So the Stripe Integration seems to be working fine.

Have you tried using new API keys?

If it is still the same, please try these steps.

    1. Remove the payment integration.

    2. Clear your form cache. (http://www.jotform.com/help/229-How-to-Clear-your-Form-Cache)

    3. Log out from your account.

    4. Clear your browser cache. (http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cache)

    5. Re-log in to your account.

    6. Re-integrate the payment processor.

Can you please try it again and provide us any error message or screenshot?

**If the links are not working. Please copy the URL and paste it directly onn the browser.

    Thank you for your patience.

    Still have issues with this:

    http://www.jotform.com/?formID=31102571417948

    Message from a customer:

Hi there. I would like the purchase the 'My logo pro' for £32. I filled out the form on the website with my bank details but the next page didn't load properly so I thought it would be easier to contact you here. I look forward to hearing from you.

    Sarah.

How many other people have tried making payment on this form and it not worked??  Just how much business have you cost us this time??

    Hi Simon,

Going back to the first post from you and reading up to here, the issue is caused with the conflict on your page: http://www.1-to-1.org.uk/logo-design-my-logo-pro.html

You must change the js embed method to iframe embed method instead, which would protect the jotform's code from being corrupted by other code on your pages and will work properly.

If you have the same issue on some of the jotforms that you access directly then please follow the steps given by my colleague Jan above.

    Best Regards,
    Ben
