I've again troubles with my form.
When I open the form to change it, the form will not open, and I see a screen who says that there is a problem with my script.

This is the third time I have this problem. I made three times a new form... This is an emportant file for me, because we have an b&b...

Who can help me to solve this problem? I thought that jotform was a good and stable programme.

The last time a had this problem on this forum, they say to submit it to the programmers, without a result...

    Hi Piet,

I believe that the issue is the same as it is in the other thread found here: http://www.jotform.com/answers/451676 or do you get a new error?

I had a chance to see this error at one time myself as well in Firefox, but if I clicked on the Continue (Doorgaan) it had resolved itself - this is not the case at this time.

Since this is the same jotform and the seems to be the same issue, I am not able to raise this thread to developers, but will leave a note to our developers on the other thread with new info that I have seen now.

So to summarize, I will post a comment here http://www.jotform.com/answers/451676 to our developers as I see that the bug is already escalated to important status and a developer assigned to it.

For now, could you please tell us when did this start happening - did you notice if there was a certain setting activated, or if you have added some specific element to the jotform?

    Best Regards,
    Ben

    Hi,

indeed, it's the same problem like in the other thread. http://www.jotform.com/answers/451676

But, I made a 4 weeks ago a complete new form, with less mathematic instructions. Since then I had no problems more... Yess!

Today I made I simple change in the form (in the e-mail 'report' I set the €-sign) and saved it. When I opened the form again, there was the script problem again.

I work in Firefox, but when I clicked on Continue, Firefox stucked for a few moments and then is everyting disappeared.

It is a great problem for me, because the jotform link is integrated in my website and this is by an external firm, so it is not so easy  to make a new form... and it takes a lot of time.

    Hi,

I was able to replicate the problem. I'm unable to open your form in your account and getting the script error in Mozilla Firefox. Upon further investigation, I'm guessing this is a problem with one of your widgets, it might be the Paypal or the widget that involves the calendar. If you can open your form in the form builder using a different browser, please do. I would recommend that you try removing the widgets one by one and see which one is the culprit.

    We'll wait for your response.

    Thank you.

    Charlie,

    great!

First, with the revision historie, I setted my form back to an earlier form (in Mozilla); so I could open my form.  I closed the form and opened it again: problem with the script again!

Again opening the form with the revision historie and than I deleded the calendar widget, closed the form and re-opened the form and... NO PROBLEM!

So, the problem is the calendar.

I pasted the calendar html-code again in the form and no problem, for the moment. But I'm sure it shall hapen again in the future, but now, I have the solution to repair it.

But the question is, why is there a problem with the script and the calendar?

    Thanks everybody for your help!

Merry christmas and I happy new year.

    Hi,

Glad its working fine in your end now. I've also cloned your form to see if I can replicate the problem, and it's also working in my end now. It seems there's just a bad code inside the HTML calendar. If you added a javascript on it, I believe it won't work and will only cause problem.

If the problem rose again, just let us know and we will investigate further.

Thank you and Happy Holidays! :)
